All artistic creations must be original work of the participating exhibitor.
Renfrew Art in the Park provides a venue for artists to exhibit original artwork for sale with regard to fair value for artistic concept, skill, and expression.
Renfrew Art Guild will insure this event for public liability and will arrange on-site security for the duration of the event. Renfrew Art in the Park and the Renfrew Art Guild will not be responsible for lost or damaged pieces or other property. All equipment, personal property and items for sale are the responsibility of the participant.
Check-in and set-up time is Friday, July 12th from 2 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 13th from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. Set-up must be completed by 8:30 a.m. with cars removed from the exhibit area. The show is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Exhibitors will be assigned areas approximating 12 x 12 ft. to allow for guy ropes etc. on the gazebos/shelters. (There will not be a main tent this year.) If you have any special requirements, please let the registrar know.
Exhibitors must have their exhibit areas maintained and managed throughout the show hours. Early leaving is not permitted. Displays must be removed from Haramis Park at the conclusion of the exhibition after 5:00 p.m.
Exhibitors must provide tables, stands, backdrops, easels as required to display their work, and a folding chair for seating.
Last year we had a very successful "Battle of the Canvas". Artists signed up to paint a picture in a 20-minute challenge. It was very exciting and the crowd enjoyed the action. The paintings were then auctioned off to support our Bursary Fund. If you are interested, please note on the bottom of your application form.
